"Brahmastra" to have new instalment every 2 years

"Brahmastra" starring Ranbir Kapoor. Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan will be directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film will be having 3 instalments and in the early next year, the team will be starting with the first schedule of the film.

Recently, when a leading tabloid asked Karan about the big project, he stated, "The shoot will start in February-March for the first part. Then hopefully, every two years, we will have a new instalment of Brahmastra."

Earlier, Karan attended the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and there he spoke about the film. He said, "It will be a trilogy and is the most ambitious film we've worked on."

Karan further said, "Ranbir is a big part of Dharma. We have had great innings with him so far and are looking forward to the next one."

It is said to have some high octane action sequences, adventure and fantasy too. The film is set to hit the screens on August 15, 2019.
