Rani Mukerji pays hefty amount to BMC

Recently, Actress Rani Mukerji had a scuffle with the constuction department of BMC, due to a additional construction at her bunglow. The BMC eventually had to stop this construction, labeling it as a irregular construction. 

A group of activists had filed a complaint in the month of August, against the irregular construction been carried out at the actress's bungalow which comes under K West ward of BMC. Reciprocating to the complaint the civil officials sent a notice under section 488 of the MCC.

After the examination, the officials conveyed a notice to the actress to stop the work work.

As for now, the issue has been resolved, but the actress had to pay a huge amount as a penalty. She paid 23 Lakh to the BMC in order to continue the construction.
