So when we contacted the actor for the reason behind his transformation, he said: "It is not for any film, it is solely for me. For my confidence and not for anyone else. I had this look since a long time, say for the past 15 years."
"So for gaining confidence I thought to get a make over. It was giving me a character kind of look, so I wanted a new look where I can fit in to maximum characters, play a villian and a romantic hero at the same time."
"Keeping in mind the glamour industry, I have learnt that one should work internally as well as externally. So this was an extrenal part of an actor which I felt is necessary in today's time."
When we asked if he got a makeover for a particular role or to get the audiences' review, he said: "It's not to get anyone's reviews but to get better and meatier roles apart from a comdey, or a villian or maybe a more lighter and good looking roles (laughs)."
On a concluding note he said, "Also, medically it was not good, it was unhygenic and might cause trouble later on. So I felt the need to change it. Not being an actor but as a person."
