Being one of the members of the CBFC board recently,
Vidya Balan was asked to comment on the controversies related to
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's most awaited film, Padmavati.
Starring
Deepika Padukone,
Ranveer Singh and
Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles the film has been surrounded by many controversies. The makers have also been threatened by the Karni Sena to burn the theatres if they release the film before showing it to their members.
However, talking to a leading agency when the actress was asked to comment on the issue, she said,
"Because I am in the middle of Tumhari Sulu promotions, I have not kept myself updated about the controversy regarding Padmavati. So, I don't want to make any loose comment about anything, especially being the member of the CBFC."Meanwhile, talking about Vidya, the actress is busy promoting her upcoming film,
Tumhari Sulu that is slated to release on November 17, 2018.
