Katrina Kaif: I want to become a Superheroine

We have witnessed Katrina Kaif's massy action skills in films such as Phantom, Dhoom 3, Bang Bang to name a few. Her upcoming film 'Tiger Zinda Hai' with Salman Khan also has some cool action sequences which are expected to be a great entertainer.

After appearing in many action films, Katrina now wants to portray a superheroine in a film. While speaking to a leading daily she expressed, "I really think someone should make a superheroine film. It's high time. There are so many characters in our Indian comics as well as our mythology which can be translated and brought in a Hindi film".

The actress is pretty excited and keen on doing such a film. When asked her about the changing trends in Bollywood with respect to women's participation, especially in the action-film genre, she said, "Obviously, that is changing. There are women doing primary action-oriented roles too. Everyone's attempting it. It's not that women aren't getting action roles. Such films are written for heroines too but yes, you are right, it's comparatively fewer in number. The men do get to do more action. But I have some really crazy action inTiger Zinda Haiand I have trained really hard for it. I hope that they turn out well and the audiences love it".

"I would rather do 50 per cent action in a cohesive, coherent, entertaining film than doing 100 per cent of the action scenes in a film that's completely helter-skelter", she further expressed.
