CONFIRMED: Katrina Kaif to star opposite Salman Khan in Bharat

Actor Salman Khan and his films that release on EID are a treat to the audience. Khan's films are a blockbuster and his upcoming film 'Bharat' has blocked its date for EID 2019!

Directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar, Bharat is produced by Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.  Bharat is an official adaptation of a South Korean film titled An Ode To My Father and is expected to commence filming from April 2018. The merger of Salman - Agnihotri will be seen after 6 long years.

The film will feature Salman as the protagonist and seems like he has found his leading lady for the film. It's none other than his Tiger Zinda Hai co-star Katrina Kaif. A source close to the makers of the film informed a leading magazine and confirmed the news of Katrina being a part of the film.

We have witnessed Salman - Katrina's chemistry in many movies such as Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, Partner and Ek Tha Tiger to name a few and the audience have liked their on-screen pairing. Katrina has big projects in her kitty and her all upcoming films are with the three Khans of Bollywood.

Talking about the plot of Bharat, Atul said, "It's the journey of a country and also a person, both of whom go by the name of Bharat. That film is just the starting point for us, but since it was an inspiration, we wanted in all fairness to officially own it and acquired the remake rights before going ahead with 'Bharat".

The film will require a lot of travel and elaborate sets. They will shoot in Abu Dhabi and Spain, besides Punjab and Delhi in India.
