A love triangle between Varun, Alia & Aditya on cards?

Director Karan Johar is working on his next big film titled Shiddat which is expected to roll from early next year. Buzz is that Karan has put in a young cast for his magnum opus Shiddat, which includes Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapoor in the lead roles.

The film will also star Sanjay Dutt and Sridevi in supporting roles. "Dutt and Sridevi will be playing parents to brothers Varun and Aditya in the film", reveals a source. The two brothers will have a strained relationship throughout the film.

The plot of the film is set during the time of Indo-Pak Partition era, which makes Shiddat a period film. Adding to this, the sources reveal, "A huge set is to be built in the city to shoot for the film. Designer Manish Malhotra has already started planning on the designs of the costumes to recreate the 40's look and feel".

As reported, Varun and Aditya will play brothers and Alia will be their love connection. The story will have a love triangle where both the brothers fall for the same girl. Although, we have seen Varun and Alia in a love triangle before in their debut film Student of the Year, watching Aditya will be a first and a treat for the audience.
