About Taricka Bhatia

Singer Taricka Bhatia was born and brought up in the city of dreams Mumbai. She received her musical inclination from her mother Poonam Bhatia who is a playback singer herself.

 

A finance student who also studied fashion and is a certified wedding planner, Taricka never thought she would enter the wonderful world of music. This was until her family friend Mika Singh heard her sing and asked her to perform with him onstage. There was no looking back for Taricka for then started a string of Punjabi cover videos. She has been the female lead vocalist for Mika Singh for the past 5 years.

 

With a fondness for Punjabi music, Taricka aims to revamp the current Punjabi folk songs and present them differently.

 

Her current outings include a Punjabi cover song "Akhiyan Ch Tu Wasda", a deep number that describes a young girl pining for her beloved and an original single Hulle Hullare which will be released exclusively by T-series.
