'Dhadkan' , the 2000 hit starring Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty and Suniel Shetty in the lead roles had a soothing, romantic and magical sound track which remains popular till date. The music was composed by Nadeem-Shravan, who created chartbusters like 'Tum dil ki dhadkan ho', 'Dil ne yeh kaha hai dil se' and 'Na na karte pyar' for the film.
It is believed that the composer duo took almost three years to finalise the music album.
The song 'Dulhe Ka Sehra' was composed in 1997 and was sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in the same year before his death. The other songs too were recorded in 1997-1998 except for the title track, 'Tum Dil Ki Dhadkan Mein', which was recorded in the year 2000 by Nadeem in London.
Buzz is, Anu Malik has been roped in for 'Dhadkan 2'.
According to the source, makers of 'Dhadkan 2' have approached Anu Malik.
"They wanted someone who could bring in the essence of yesteryears and yet sound contemporary. The makers scouted for many names but finally zeroed down on Anu Malik," said the source.
If rumours are to be believed Anu Malik has already started working on the music of 'Dhadkan 2' and the album might have six to seven sound tracks.
