Rana Daggubati's COMMENT on Baahubali 2 scoring 1000 crores!

Rana Daggubati who has played the character of 'Bhallaldeva' in Baahubali and Baahubali: The Conclusion, expressed his feelings after the second installment made a business of Rs.1000 crores! When he was quizzed about the same, he said, "Hahaha, it is exciting. It is a huge number, ask me." (sic)

He even expressed gratitude towards media for their contribution to the huge success of the film. He said, "We want to thank every single person of the press in Mumbai and across the country. They really supported the film and owned it. They are why we are here today and they have made it what it is today. The way the media rallied around the film, was very encouraging." (sic)

Talking about the Box-office numbers, he was quoted as saying, "Obviously, the numbers matter a lot. It gives us the belief that we can dream bigger and make bigger films. Five years back when we trying to make this film, people thought we were bonkers, making such an expensive film. Then, we stood by it throughout till the end. It shows that if you are honest enough towards your story and content it works." (sic)

Rana says that this is just the beginning of the new era in the film industry and also that he is proud to be the part of S. S. Rajamouli's magnum opus. He said, "Well, I am hoping that many such films will come out of India. Bahubali 2: The Conclusion is a just a stepping stone for all of us to make bigger and bigger films. In India, we have a market for such films. There is a real sense of pride in being part of this film. We feel blessed to be in the movie business and a film like Baahubali tells us we are in the right place at the right time." (sic)

When probed further about Baahubali 3, he replied, "See, the world of Baahubali won't end. There is the book, we will have a TV series. As of now, only the story of Baahubali 2 has concluded." (sic)
