Javed Akhtar's REACTION to Sonu Nigam's 'Azaan controversy'!

Sonu Nigam has been in the news for his tweets regarding the use of loudspeakers during 'Azaan' and at other religious institutions. Soon after his tweets, he was bashed by many Muslim religious leaders.

Recently, Bollywood's famous scriptwriter and lyricist, Javed Akhtar expressed his views on the issue. Akhtar who was honored with Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2017 for the Best Poet, lyricist and scriptwriter was quoted saying, "As far as I think, no matter if it's a Masjid, Mandir, Church or Gurudwara, whatever is the place, do your prayers, but it shouldn't disturb anyone else."

Many celebs graced the Award ceremony which included Urvashi Rautela, Hema Malini, Anup Jalota, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan">Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Divya Khosla Kumar, Phalguni Pathak, Jubin Nautiyal, Kirti Kulhari, Juhi Chawla, Usha Nadkarni, Piyush Mishra, Rana Daggubati, Shoojit Sircar and Saiyami Kher.
