'Shivaay' bags National Award for best VFX but Ajay isn't surprised!

Ajay Devgn's last film 'Shivaay' had received mixed reactions from the audience and the critics. The film's superficial animation and graphic work were something that had grabbed the attention of the viewers. The makers had also received heaps of praise for its VFX work.

Team 'Shivaay's hard work seemed to have finally paid off when the film received the prestigious National award for its VFX work.

Ajay who was glad about the film's win said that "I feel delighted that the prestigious 64th National Award for Best Visual Effects has been awarded to our very own Naveen Paul of NYVFXWALA for our film 'Shivaay'. (sic)

"Many congratulations to Naveen and the entire team. I am thankful for the honorable jury but I have to say that I am not at all surprised by their decision. This indeed is a well-deserved win." (sic)

'Shivaay' was released along with Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' on October 27, 2016.
