Omg: Alia Bhatt REJECTED a film with Aamir Khan?

Actress Alia Bhatt is soaring high on success in her Bollywood career. Her past films like 'Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya', 'Dear Zindagi' and 'Udta Punjab' witnessed a tremendous response at the box office and also the critics have appreciated her performances in the film. Her sheer hard work has paid off well and Alia stands as one such popular actresses from Bollywood.

Is that the reason for Alia to act pricey? Well as per a report in a popular tabloid, Alia turned down an offer to work with Yashraj film's upcoming project 'Thugs of Hindostan' that stars Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. Recently, the buzz was that Yashraj's chief Aditya Chopra was in search of a suitable actress for a role in his film. Also, Aamir had suggested Alia's name for the role.

Then what made Alia turn down the offer with a brand like YashRaj and that too with actors like Aamir and Big B on board?

The report quoted a source informing that, "Alia would love to work with Aamir. Who wouldn't? But not in a film where the heroine has so little to do. The heroine's role in 'Thugs of Hindostan' is underdeveloped and undernourished. In fact, Hrithik Roshan (earlier considered for the film) told Adi Chopra that the girl's role needs to be reworked and Adi agreed. But the minute Aamir showed interest in the project, Hrithik was dropped and the heroine's role remained the same." (sic)

Buzz was that Vaani Kapoor was considered to play the leading lady in the film but Aamir wanted Alia to be roped in for the project.

A source in the report further revealed that " Everyone knows that Aamir's films have the least scope for the heroine, so this search may last a while".  (sic)

So the question as to which actress will get on board for the project still remains!

Meanwhile, all we can do is wait and watch.

The film is helmed by filmmaker Vijay Krishna Acharya and is slated to release in 2018.
