13 year old gets PREGNANT, blames it on a film!

Movies are one of the great medium which leaves an impact on everyone especially the young minds! This is evident from a recent incident which took place down in South India. Reportedly, a 13-year-old girl got pregnant and blamed it on a film for the same.

According to a report, a member of Censor Board was called upon after the juvenile, who ran away with her boyfriend 10 months ago, justified her act by stating that she was influenced by a Tamil movie, Kalavani! The film is about a guy who kidnaps a girl and ends up marrying her!

A source was quoted saying, "Police located the girl last week and produced her in court. A Habeas Corpus application has been filed by girl's parents." (sic)

Chennai court questioned the CBFC official that how such films are granted the 'U' certificate? (The film was released with 'U' certificate) The source further adds, "The CBFC member briefed the court about the Board's proceedings and the judge has asked him to file an affidavit stating all aspects related to the issue including grading, incision and reaction of the producer among other things. The affidavit needs to be submitted next Monday." (sic)

Another source from the censor body was quoted saying, "It's always a Catch-22 situation for us. If we allow certain scenes, we are doomed. If we don't, we are damned." (sic)
