Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film 'Padmavati' has landed in trouble yet again.
The team was on an outdoor shoot in Kolhapur and were shooting there. But, around midnight a mob of 150 men gathered and burnt the equipment. The security guards who tried to fight them back were badly beaten up by the crowd. Around 20 guards were thrashed up.
Here are few pictures of the incident:
Around 2 am on Tuesday night, 40-50 people barged in with sticks and petrol bombs to destroy the settings. They broke glasses of the generator vans and beat up the spot boys and drivers. Around 1k costumes were burnt.
The Panhala and Kolhapur police are looking into the matter. It happened last night. The culprits fled after setting the set on fire. Apparently, the fire engines couldn't reach the sets completely, hence the villagers helped.
