Amitabh Bachchan is preparing for his upcoming film 'Sarkar 3'. Big B is admired in the industry for his hard work and perseverance. In spite of being a huge name in B-town, he is always punctual at his work unlike other actors. Yet again, he has proved that for him work comes first.
Amitabh had recently received a special invitation from UK's Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip (the Duke of Edinburgh) for the launch of 'UK-India Year of Culture'. The ceremony is said to be hosted by Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family wanted to have Big B's presence at the event.
But, he had to deny the invitation due to his prior work commitments. A popular tabloid quoted a source informing, "Prior commitments are making him impossible to fly to London for the gala. He has already extended his regret to the invitation, citing pre-scheduled commitments, but is honored to receive a special invite from Buckingham Palace." (sic)
His publicist also informed the publication that, "Yes, Mr. Bachchan has been extended a rare invitation by Queen Elizabeth and Buckingham Palace to grace the UK-India cultural Year reception. Unfortunately, however he will be unable to attend due to prior commitments." (sic)
Apart from 'Sarkar 3' that will launch its trailer in March, Mr. Bachchan will also be seen in Aamir Khan's 'Thugs of Hindoostan, Aankhen 2 and Kabir Khan's 'Dragon'.
With too many projects in his basket, Big B is surely a busy man!
