Theatre and film actor Akhil Mishra is going to be in an English film, 'Prayer For Rain', about the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy.
'I have agreed to be part of this film because it deals with the issue of Bhopal gas tragedy. It's entertaining cinema with a realistic approach. We will be shooting in and around Hyderabad.' said Akhil.
The film is produced and directed by Ravi Kumar under the banner of Rising Star. It also stars Martin Sheen of 'Gandhi' fame and Rajpal Yadav.
The actor who is known for films like 'Gandhi - My Father', 'Don', 'Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi', and 'Kareeb' has also been associated with soaps like 'Jab Luv Hua', 'Annu Ki Ho Gayee Wah Bhai Wah' and 'Mera Dil Diwana' among others.
