A lot of criticism was seen all over the world when the newly elected US President Donald Trump banned the immigration of people from seven Muslim dominant countries to US. Even our hottest export from Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra, used her freedom to speak against the ban. The global goodwill ambassador of UNICEF took to her Linkedin profile and shared,"All of the 'banned' countries are places where a lot of Unicef work is going on, where children are suffering the most. What can I add that people across professions and age groups have not already said? But adding your voice will definitely make a difference."
She urged everyone to raise their voice against such issues to bring a change. She added,"And make a difference we must. Please join me in making our voice stronger so that globally, our children are not discriminated against on the basis of their religion and do not have to bear the brunt of a political witch hunt."
On the professional front, the 34-year-old actress is busy shooting the second season of American TV series, Quantico.
