Sonu wanted to watch 'Kung Fu Yoga' with his father, gets emotional!

Actor Sonu Sood who has proved his acting skills in Bollywood is all geared up for the release of his upcoming Indo-Chinese film 'Kung Fu Yoga'. Where he will be seen sharing screen space with popular martial artist Jackie Chan.

Sonu who was present at the launch of the film yesterday in Mumbai shared the first memory of the film. He said, "Before I started working on the project, I received a message from Jackie Chan's office, saying they are doing a film and if I would like to be a part of the same".

The actor said that he was so overwhelmed on being offered the film that he kept reading the message repeatedly. He also says that he immediately went to his father to share this good news.

"Papa was surprised at the first place and then very happy about me. Therefore, we planned to watch the movie together once we do the screening. Unfortunately, I lost my father few months ago but I got the opportunity to be part of the film, not only as an actor but also as the distributor in India. I think it is the blessing of my father that all the good things are happening to me. I am happy to be associated with the film 'Kung Fu Yoga', he stated further.

The film is presented and distributed in India by Shakti Sagar Productions which is owned by Sonu himself.

Apart from Jackie Chan, the film also stars Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur. Helmed by Stanley Tong, it will hit the silver screens on February 3, 2017.
