Trouble doesn't seem to end for Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film 'Raees'. The MNS party had threatened the makers to ban the film in Maharashtra for having Pak actress Mahira Khan in its cast. But Shah Rukh and Ritesh Sidhwani who has produced the film resolved the issue after meeting MNS chief Raj Thackeray recently.
However, an another problem seems to be making way as the film approaches its release date.
As per a report in a leading publication, the Shia community is unhappy with the makers of Raees. The members of the community are in objection over a scene where SRK is seen jumping over a procession carrying the Alam Mubarak, which is a religious structure of Shia Community.
The structure is considered to be sacred in Islam and the scene has hurt the sentiments of the Shia community. As such, the representatives of the community have sent a letter to CBFC demanding to chop off the scene from the film.
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the film will release on 25th January, 2017.
