Sai Deodhar and Shakti Anand's 'Gharaunda'

After the 'Saara Aakash' the real life couple Sai and Shakti turns are all set for silver screen. Both of them are making their debut on big screen with 'Gharaundha'. In the title 'Ghar' refers house and 'Aundha' means everything upside down.

The film is directed by Ace director "Shrabani Deodhar"(Sai 's mother) under banner 'Light House'.The films music is scored by Monty Sharma and the banner is light house

It’s a feel good film but not an out and out comedy. In other words you can say that the flick is more close to the one like Rishikesh Mukherjee movies,” says Shakti.

The better half Sai states that, “It the background of a middle class family and the moral of the story is that eventually good things happen at the end.”

Are you paired opposite each other in the film, “No we are not. People have this misconception of us being together as man and wife in television but not on silver screen,” quips the man.

The shooting of the film is done and even the post production work is over. The film is expected to release in January or February 2009.

Sai and Shakti gained a huge popularity as telly actors. Hope their magic continues on big screen too.
