Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has made his mark in film industry and with Kolkata Knight Riders he has become a big name in sports industry too. The actor who owns Indian Premier League's KKR team says that he didn't get into this to make money
The actor was quoted saying, " It was a love for the game that made me invest time and money. We will never sell KKR." (sic)
Over the years IPL was considered as a 'money making business' and still it is but last year's low rainfall raised rumours about shutting down of IPL or shifting it outside the country. Shah Rukh denied the rumours calling them incorrect. The actor said. " I don't think IPL will fold up. I think the information is incorrect. Because if that's going to happen, I need to run away from this interview and look into the matter." (sic)
The 51-year-old star also spoke about his love for sports and his wish to enter in Indian Super League! He said, "Several actors have invested in football, Kabaddi and I always make it a point to go when I have the time and watch their teams play."
" I was looking at the Kolkata franchise [for ISL], but unfortunately, things didn't work out . If it happens, I am game." (sic)
