Anurag Kashyap apologised to PM under teammate's pressure?

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had faced serious criticism on the internet for questioning Prime Minister Narendra Mod's visit to Pakistan. Some stated that Anurag made those tweets under alcoholic influence but the Wasseypur director had denied to it tweeting that:

Anurag had later apologised for his comments and tried to justify his tweets stating that he didn't ask the PM to apologise, but he just questioned the "fairness in a judgement of a situation".

As per fresh reports in media, Anurag's apology had soon come after his team mates at Phantom films bashed him for his comments. Vikramaditya Motwane, Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl felt that Anurag's tweets might damage the production house's box office prospects and they would be dragged into another controversy. As such, they had asked him to be careful with his words.

It's evident that Anurag's partners are worried due to his bold statements and are in no mood to pay off the same.
