Maharashtra Cheif Minister Devendra Fadnavis has assured for the safe release of Karan Johar's upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In the wake of Uri attacks, the film has been facing threats for having Pak actor Fawad Khan.
Recently, producer Mukesh Bhatt who heads the Film & Television Producers Guild of India, met Mumbai Police chief and Home minister Rajnath Singh to ensure all kinds of safety during the film's release. He has been ensured with all support from the police to have a peaceful release for ADHM.
Now, CM Fadnavis in his recent statement has also extended his support. He said that, "Police has taken very strict action on MNS today. Twelve members of the MNS who had gone to Metro theatre to threaten them have been sent to judicial custody till November 4,".
While the government has assured safety, we need to see whether things turn out peacefully during the release.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma and will hit the silver screens tomorrow.
