Post terrorist attacks in Uri, Pakistani actors became the victim of the after effects. Political party, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena led by Raj Thackeray gave an ultimatum of 48 hours to all the Pak artistes to leave the country. This action was also supported by the ruling party BJP.
Lot of comments were made by the actors from the industry. The latest one was Salman Khan who supported the Pakistani actors and asked everyone to understand the difference between artistes and terrorists. His comment on banning Pakistani artistes backfired as people are criticizing the actor for not standing up for the country. However, Salman Khan has now got a supporter from the ruling party BJP.
BJP MP Yogi Adityanath's stance on banning Pakistani artistes is similar to that of Salman Khan. The member of Parliament said, "Our fight is not against art and culture, it is against terrorism." (sic)
Well, it seems this statement by the MP might upset the higher authorities of BJP.
