Did Mahesh Bhatt just mean that Emraan Hashmi is NOT a STAR?

Film maker Mahesh Bhatt believes that the horror genre in itself is enough to grab viewers' attention, and that is one of the reasons why such films don't need stars.

"People who make horror films realize that this genre itself is sufficient to grab the attention. So that's the reason they don't feel the need (of stars)... That is why there are no stars when it comes to horror films," Mahesh Bhatt told IANS.

But, in his upcoming film Raaz Reboot", there is a well-established actor and his nephew, Emraan Hashmi. With Mahesh Bhatt saying that his horror films don't need stars, did he mean that Emraan is not a star?

He is currently busy promoting his next horror film production "Raaz Reboot", which is directed by Vikram Bhatt and stars Emraan Hashmi, Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora. It will release on September 16.
