Confirmed: Sequel to 'Nayee Padosan' ready to go on floors

Film 'Nayee Padosan' released back in the year 2003 was a tremendous success at the box office. Interestingly, the film was a Hindi remake of Tamil film 'Indru Poi Nalaai Vaa' [1981]. The audience may soon get to have the same dose of laughter and romance once again as the makers of the film are planning for it's second instalment.

As per a report in a leading tabloid, film writer Ikram Akhtar who has penned down many films like Baaghi, Chal Mere Bhai and Ready is prepping up for 'Nayee Padosan 2'. The film is said to have a new storyline will be announced this year.

Sadly, the film won't retain it's earlier star cast and new faces will be roped in for this project.

The report confirmed the news quoting the film's director Ikram stating, "Nayee Padosan 2 will be a completely different movie from Nayee Padosan. I will make the film keeping the current nuances of the Bollywood and the audience into consideration. I am looking forward to commence the shoot with three newcomers. I can't reveal much about it at the moment". [sic]

Well, nothing much is revealed at the moment and we wait for the official announcement of the film from it's makers.
