Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama, 'Mohenjo Daro' didn't live up to the audience expectations. The film's poor performance had fueled the rumor mills stating that it had led to a clash between Ashutosh and Hrithik Roshan. But the duo have finally put all the rumors to rest as they gear up for their third film together.
A report in a leading tabloid states that reports of a clash between Ashutosh and Hrithik are false and they maintain an amicable relationship with each other. The report quoted a source stating that, "Both Ashutosh and Hrithik are far too sorted to indulge in any blame game. Reports of Hrithik sending angry text messages to Ashutosh are not just false but also misleading. There are meant to create differences between the two by people having vested interests". [sic]
The report also mentions that the Krrish actor has immense faith in Ashutosh and trusts him. It said, "Hrithik said no to Sanjay Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani, so he could accommodate huge chunks of time for Mohenjo Daro. Does Hrithik regret his choice? Not at all. He is very confident that his third collaboration with Ashutosh will be immensely rewarding". [sic]
While the first two films from Hrithik-Ashutosh's alliance i.e Jodha Akbar and Mohenjo Daro hadn't been a great success, will their third release lure the audience? Well that's something time will tell.
