We have had a lot of speculations over YRF's upcoming film 'Thug'. Reports in the media suggested that Hrithik Roshan, who was earlier finalised for the lead role in the film had moved out of the project as he wasn't happy with the film's script and wanted some changes to be made. But it didn't down well with the makers. Since then, rumors had it that Aamir Khan was roped in for the lead role.
Finally, the news is confirmed!
As per reports on a daily portal, "Thug's" director Vijay Krishna Acharya had approached Aamir with changes in the script and the actor has given his nod to the proposal. Aamir's character in the film is said to be lighter one, similiar to his role in 'Rangeela'.
The actor will begun shooting for 'Thug' after the release of his upcoming film 'Dangal'. After Dhoom 3, this would be for the second time when Aamir will work on with Vijay Krishna Acharya.
'Dangal' is all set to hit the theatres on 23rd December, 2016.
