Recently, there was a controversy revolving around Bipasha Basu being part of International Yoga Day celebrations in Karnataka.

However, it is not true and the actress graced the event just for a social cause to create awareness among the youngsters of India.

In an official statement released the spokesperson has said, "Bipasha attended the event only with the intention of promoting yoga and creating awareness on health and physical fitness amongst the youth. It was not for her name to get dragged into it. The news that has appeared is not true."
