By God's Grace: Hrithik Roshan and his Sons escaped Terrorists Attacks

Hrithik Roshan had been to attend the IIFA awards in Madrid, Spain after which he left for a mini vacation in Africa with his sons Hrehaan and Hridhan. The actor and both his sons were on their way back to Mumbai, India where they missed their connecting flight from Istanbul's Ataturk Airport. Their next flight back to India was around 18 hours later. But, luckily they didn't wait that long and instead decided to travel by economy class and took an early flight out from Istanbul.

Soon after they flew out the terror attacks that killed 36 people and injured over 145 took place at the airport. Three militants opened fire inside and outside the airport and later exploded their suicide vests when the cops tried to fire at them.

Speaking to a leading daily Hrithik shared, "We missed our connecting flight in Instanbul.We were stuck at the Istanbul Ataturk airport.We were supposed to wait for 18 hours for the next flight out. But we preferred to fly economy class and took an earlier flight out of Istanbul."(sic)

He later took to his social media account to share the news, he posted: "Missed connecting flight at Istanbul and were stuck at airport. Next flight was next day, but took economy and flew out earlier. Prayers for Istanbul."

"Was helped by the kindest staff at Istanbul airport hours ago. Shocking news. Innocents killed for religion. We must stand united against terrorism," he added.
