One of the most versatile actors from the B-town, Akshay Kumar seems to be leaving no stones unturned to make his upcoming film 'Housefull 3' a huge hit. The actor has spent almost 25 years in the industry and has made it till here, where he stands today.
Though Akshay is at the peak of his Bollywood career, he reminisces about the early days when he started off from the scratch. He believes that despite having innumerable hurdles and competitors, it was his luck that favored him and kept showering prosperity and success upon him.
During a recent press meet of 'Housefull 3', the actor was asked whom he would credit for his success to which he immediately responded, "Its luck! 60-70%, I consider it as luck. I am very lucky the way things have gone my way. Yes, I've worked very hard. I've selected good films and bad films but I think that luck factor is also there".
The actor also shared about the plight of the strugglers in film industry and considers himself fortunate in that case.
He says, "When I enter a studio I see a lot of models standing outside who want to come and get into this line, somebody who has come with a great photograph. I look at his profile and I look at his face I feel wow! What a good looking guy or what a good looking girl. But he's been struggling since five years and even ten years but nothing much happened. Why? There must be reason to it. Is he not talented? He is very talented and has all the ingredients what an actor requires but does he has that what we call Kismat".
Aap log maano ya naa maano, I always believe it. I've worked very hard and it's not that I give it up and say no. If I believe in luck why should I work? I work my ass off but at the same time I also believe that luck also plays a very important role and that's what I've seen".
The actor went nostalgic as he shared with us about his ups and downs in Bollywood.
'Housefull 3' is slated to hit the theatres on 3rd June, 2016.
