Salman's Eid and Shah Rukh's Republic Day!

Looks like the Khans want to give each other space for their films. Both want their respective films to be the blockbuster and their actions speak the same.

According to a report in a leading daily, it has been revealed that Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees' will be releasing on January 26, 2017. The initial release of the film i.e Eid weekend has been shifted after analyzing everything.

The film was going to clash with Salman Khan starrer 'Sultan', before this change in schedule.

The report further quoted Ritesh Sidhwani, producer of SRK's film, "It was not an easy decision to move the film. We understand that our movie is highly anticipated. However, a film of such magnitude requires appropriate showcasing. Therefore, we have decided to shift our release date."[sic]

As everyone knows 'Eid week' has been Salman Khan's week for the past few years as his films have released during the period.

Reportedly the superstar has already blocked next year's Eid weekend with a movie which will be directed by Kabir Khan.

Though Shah Rukh Khan is still going to face a competition, as Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan's film are also scheduled for next year's Republic Day!
