Om Puri separates from Wife Nandita Puri

Veteran actor Om Puri has been facing issues with his wife for a long time. In the year 2013, the actor's wife Nandita Puri had filed a complaint accusing him of domestic violence. Their relationship has now hit a rough patch as the duo has finally decided to part ways from each other.

According to a report in a leading daily, a court order last week has granted Om Puri and Nandita a judicial separation. This decree in law allows the couple the freedom to separate from each other whilst remaining legally married.

The court has imposed a communication restriction between the two and as such, they can meet each other only in the presence of a third party.

However, it has given the actor the right to visit his 18 year old son Ishaan.

It's really sad to see them separating, thereby putting an end to their 26-year long marriage.
