Varun Dhawan who is currently in Abu Dhabi for the shoot of
his forthcoming film Dishoom is currently training himself to ride a speedboat.
The actor who is leaving no stone unturned for Sajid Nadiadwala's Dishoom is
currently learning Speed Boating.
Varun's onscreen character demanded the actor to master the basics of Speed
Boating. The actor who will be seen riding the boat in the film is extensively
training for the sequence with his trainer Tony.
Varun wakes up early at 6 am and kicks off his training along with
his trainer. This skill would be used by Varun in the action sequences of the
film. This particular scene is going to be action heavy where the actor would
be required to do a heavy duty action scene in the boat where Varun would be
seen riding the speed boat.
When contacted Varun he said, "The team has got me a trainer called Tony
who has worked with several stuntmen for water-based action sequences. It's a
big and expensive scene so I have to be very confident when I'm driving the
speedboat. We have to clock speeds of 200 km per hour. I have had a couple of
sessions already. It's a lot of fun to be hitting the waters at that speed."
The actor is in UAE for a 35 day long schedule. In fact the entire 'Dishoom'
team was invited by king Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan of the Royal
Family of Abu Dhabi for lunch on his birthday.
Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala, director Rohit Dhawan, actors John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez attended the lunch. While they spoke about their respective cultures and cinema, the king promised them all the support for a smooth schedule.
The film which has been tagged as the action adventure of the year is all set to release on 29th July.
