Falsehood in award ceremonies, points out Akshay Kumar!

The 'Khiladi' of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar is all set for the release of his upcoming film 'Airlift' which will hit the theaters on 22^nd January, 2016. The actor who has been part of award functions unlike Aamir Khan revealed about the authenticity and genuineness on award distribution at such events.

Filmfare awards 2016 shocked Bollywood fans by leaving out Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar from the Best Actor nominations.

When we asked Akshay about this he laughed and said "Jab bolte hai na woh log 'ki Sir yeh award aapko dena hai'. Mein toh kholta bhi nahi hu. Aage dekhta hu ki kaun baitha hai and then samajh leta hu ki haa yeh award isi ko milega. Bina padhe bol sakta hu. It is so simple. Its not actually a guess game".

"You all know how these awards work in India. If I am asked to present an award, I can guess who is winning it on the basis of the one's who have attended it or rather the ones sitting in the front row." (Translated to English)

The actor also joked that the reason why he is a Villain in Robot 2 is pretty simple. He says, ""There is no major competition in terms of best actor in negative role and hence I am doing Robot 2. Aur Villains k awards mein lobbying nahi hoti." (Laughs)
