Top 10 Bollywood Movies to look up for in 2016!

As the year 2016 marks a new beginning, B-town industry is all geared up to entertain the viewers with its upcoming movie releases. It seems that the movie goers will have a tough time in choosing between which film to watch as the year has a series of films lined up to go on the big screens.

Here is a list of ten such films to consider for the year ahead.

Sultan

Raees

Directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Farhaan Akhtar, the film is a crime thriller starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddique and Mahira Khan in the lead roles. With just the poster that has been release till now; the movie is still soaring high among the audiences.

Dangal

'Dangal', directed by Nitesh Tiwari is a biographical sports drama film starring Aamir Khan in the lead role. The story of the movie is based on the real life of Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Geeta Phogat was India's first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal (55 kg) while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver (51 kg).

Fan

'Fan' starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role is directed by Maneesh Sharma  and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The trailer of the film was released on King Khan's 50th birthday i.e on 2nd November, 2015 and it garnered a lot of acclaims from all around. SRK will be playing a double role in the film – one as celebrity Aryan Khan who has a mega fan following just like the star in real life and second, he will be playing the role of Gaurav who is a die-hard fan of Aryan, so much so that he lives and breathes Aryan Khanna.

Airlift

'Airlift'  directed by Raja Krishna Menon is based on the real life story of the biggest evacuation in the history of India i.e the evacuation of Indians based in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait war. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead roles alongwith Nimrat Kaur in pivotal role. The movie is all set to hit the silver screens on 22nd January, 2016.

Wazir

Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Wazir is an action packed thriller film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Aditi Rao Hyadri in lead roles. John Abraham will be seen in a pivotal role. The movie is all set to hit the theaters on 8th January, 2016.

Rangoon

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, 'Rangoon' is a romance drama film that's set in the period of World War 2. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Written and directed by Karan Johar, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' is based on romance and love. The movie stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles.

Kapoor & Sons

The film directed by Shakun Batra is a romantic comedy drama film starring Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan in lead roles.

Jagga Jasoos

Directed by Anurag Basu the story of the film revolves around a teenage detective who is in search of his missing father. The movie has Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Adah Sharma and Govinda in lead roles.
