Guess Who?

As the saying goes, 'the fate of the movie lies in the hands of the audience', which means it is the audience that will decide if the movie is worth applauds. But, who plays a major role in manipulating the minds of the viewers? It is the media! Isn't it? So what will happen when the media itself gets its hands soiled in the dirt? The results will be biased judgement and fake appreciations.

Something similar happened recently after the release of two blockbuster movies. If reports are to be believed, one movie received great critical acclaims while the other got bashed from the critics. The critically bashed movie is leading the Box Office race whereas the other one that received acclaims is slowly and gradually making good collections but will stay for a long run as per trade reports.

Although, the makers of both the movie have expressed their happiness regarding the response they are receiving from everyone but it seems among the two of them one is not too happy with the Box Office collection of its film.

So to curb this issue it has come up with a strategy i.e to convince the media to post good stuffs about their movie and also to manipulate the box office collection numbers; so that the viewers after reading excellent stuffs about the flick might surely hit the nearby theatre to watch the film.

If sources are to be believed, the publicist of this movie are bribing the media persons by promising them with various exclusive content related to the superstar. Also apart from that various posh gift hampers were as well distributed among the editors of various eminent media houses who in turn published glorifying reviews of the movie.
