Team Saala Khadoos launched the power packed trailer which features R Madhavan who plays an onscreen badass boxing coach who is relentlessly pushing his protege, Ritika Singh who is an aspiring boxer to overcome obstacles and achieve her goals.

As the film revolves around the subject of coach-protege relationship, the makers invited their real life mentors for the launch in order to celebrate the relationship.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra was invited by Producer Rajkumar Hirani whereas Sidharth Roy Kapur invited his mentor Ronnie Screwvala for the trailer launch.

While Vidhu Vinod Chopra passed on a ruler which he termed as the baton in a rather unique way to Rajkumar Hirani in order to carry his legacy of being a Saala Khadoos in real life, Sidharth Roy Kapur also shared a fun insight on his mentor Ronnie Screwvala by sharing his nick name which is 'Big bad wolf' which hints at his Saala Khadoos nature.

Kamala Haasan, who R.Madhavan considers as his mentor couldn't make it for the launch as he was busy shooting in London, but made sure to send a personalized message for his Protege, 'R.Madhavan'. Madhavan regarded Kamal to be his mentor while Haasan referred to R Madhavan as a friend.

It was a nostalgic moment for all the the Protege's- R.Madhavan, Rajkumar Hirani and Sidharth Roy Kapur as all the mentors took a walk down the memory lane.

R.Madhavan and Rajkumar Hirani got in character by putting on their Boxing Gloves and indulging in a fun filled boxing session.

Amonsgt those present at the event were Rajkumar Hirani, R Madhavan, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sidharth Roy Kapur, Ronnie Screwvala, Swanand Kirkire, Abhijat Joshi, Mukesh Chabbra and Anupama Chopra.

Saala Khadoos is a film by Rajkumar Hirani Films & Tricolour Films in association with UTV Motion Pictures and is directed by Sudha Kongara.

The film is all set to release on 29th January 2016.
