Purab Kohli who will be seen in the upcoming movie 'Airlift' with Akshay Kumar and Nimrit Kaur adorns a very different look in contrast to his previous looks.
For the first time he will be seen playing something earthy
unlike his good boy image. Purab had to grow hair and beard for this look.
When contacted Purab, he said "The character I play is Ibrahim Durani and
unlike most of the parts I'm associated with, Ibrahim comes from small town in
India and works in the Middle East also the film is set in the 90's so the
characters are styled to that time. I had to hound Raja, my director to cast
me. I had heard about the part and liked it and though he was confident about
me being able to act out the part he thought I looked too urban for it. I went
and met him after getting a very unstylish sort of haircut and sporting a heavy
beard after a few weeks he finally saw Ibrahim in me."
'Airlift' co-produced by Nikhil Advani and Bhushan Kumar, is directed by Raja Menon and is all set to hit the silver screens on 22nd January, 2016.
