2015 - Year of Irrfan Khan

As we look back upon the year 2015, we would notice there has been continuous buzz about Irrfan Khan's work throughout the year. His achievements have bagged him a high spot in all rankings of top actors.

Beginning the year with his most talked about stint in the latest part of the cult Jurassic World franchise, Irrfan added another feather to his Hollywood career. He then went on to star opposite Deepika Padukone in Shoojit Sircar's "Piku", and shared screen space with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan for the very first time. His old-school and subtle romance with the sizzling Deepika Padukone sure did grab many eyeballs.

Irrfan added a new benchmark to his career when he announced he would be doing a Japanese show. What came next was being paired with diva Aishwarya Rai bachchan and his action and dialogues in the movie 'Jazbaa', which left the audience in awe of the actor.

His intriguing character in 'Talvar' was not only appreciated by audiences but also won him critical acclaim. The audiences also looked forward to his appearance with Tabu after their last much acclaimed movie 'Maqbool'.

Irrfan featuring in All India Bakchodh's video became a rage as the video was a spoof on item songs and turned out to be a complete laugh riot. His nonchalant attitude and cool demeanor brought more element into the video which went viral on social media.

Adding to the list, last but not the least, was his ranking at the 4th position of the Times Celebex list. This definitely says it all, as he definitely made his mark to the top and earned it all fair and square.
