I am scared of crackers: Sonam Kapoor

Diwali is here and like every year the whole nation is immersed in  celebrating this auspicious occasion.

While there are many who believe in bursting crackers to mark this festival; there is our fashionista Sonam Kapoor who has a complete different take to make this festive season a memorable one.

During a recent interaction with Sonam we asked her as to how is she going to celebrate this day.

She said, "Since I was a child I have been promoting 'no crackers Diwali' because I am very scared of crackers. Also, its very bad for the environment. The animals get scared due to the noise of crackers, the dogs cry. So mine is a simple reason because I love animals."

She further added, "Happy Diwali to everyone, have an amazing and prosperous year ahead. Be tolerant and do what is right."

Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' opposite Salman Khan.
