Talvar: The Best reviewed film of the year!

Meghna Gulzar's 'Talvar' has already become the best reviewed film of the year.

The movie has been receiving a raving response and has been going strong since its release. It is among the most critically acclaimed movies and has garnered the title of the 'Best film of the Year' by most reviewers. It has received a positive response from the audience as well the box office performance of the movie has been very strong.

Unlike most films which show a drop post their first week, Talvar's numbers for the first and second week have been constant and strong by garnering a total of 22.5 Crores in two weeks.

The flick received great response overseas as well with a grand collection of $ 629.4k which includes $278.9k in North America, $281.1k in UAE and Middle East, $28.36k in Australia and $29.55k in Singapore in just two weeks of its release.

'Talvar' has also been featured at Toronto International Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival and Silk Road Film Festival and received a rousing response.

The movie is based on the controversial Aarushi Talwar murder case and features Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen, Neeraj Kabi and Sohum Shah in pivotal roles.
