Sanjay Dutt granted parole for 30 days!

Sanjay Dutt who is convicted in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts is serving his jail term in Pune's Yerwada jail has been granted a 30 day parole by Maharashtra administration to attend his daughter's nose surgery.

In June the actor had applied for the parole mentioning his younger daughter Iqra's illness for which she needs to undergo a nose surgery. The parole application that was filed to the authorities was under process and has been cleared now and the actor is permitted to stay out of jail for 30 days.

Sanjay Dutt is serving his remaining five years sentence on being accused for holding illegal firearms which were a part of weapons to be used during the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. The actor is been in prison since January this year.
