When Bollywood made it big on Hollywood!

Bollywood has created, nurtured and seen many great actors. From show man Raj Kapoor in the 50's to the newbies such as Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt, everyone is unique in their own way. Not only have these actors wowed the audience in India but also in West.

Not only have our actors wowed the audience in India but so have they in the West.

Anil Kapoor

Jhakas actor Anil Kapoor made his Hollywood debut with Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire. The movie won many Oscars and Anil Kapoor became much wanted in West. He did a cameo in Hollywood's most famous franchise Mission Impossible: Ghost protocol. Anil also bagged another Hollywood thriller 'Cities' which stars Orlando Bloom and Clive Owen. We would like to say only word 'Jhakaasssh!'

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

She is perhaps the first Indian actress and Bollywood celebrity to act in a Hollywood film. Aishwarya was paired opposite comedian Steve Martin in The Pink Panther 2. She has also acted in 'Bride and Prejudice', 'Mistress of Spices' and 'Provoked: a true story'.  Well Aishwarya everything you do just leaves us awestruck!

Irrfan Khan

We don't need to say anything about him, do we? His performance in Life in Metro, Paan Singh Tomar, The Lunchbox is worth appreciating and has won the heart of the masses.  And then there was Mira Nair's American film The Namesake opposite Tabu, where he plays an immigrant from West Bengal who moves to America with his wife (Tabu) and the struggles they undergo. He also acted in Slumdog Millionaire, The Amazing Spiderman as a villain and has reportedly been cast in Development of Jurassic World, a science-fiction adventure film and the fourth in the Jurassic Park film series.

Mallika Sherawat

This Haryanvi, who made everyone take notice of her in her very 1st film Khwahish. She carried the sexy siren image further in the film Murder.  She worked with Jackie Chan in The Myth. She starred in the Hollywood film Hisss, co-starring Irrfan Khan and directed by Jennifer Lynch. She was also in a Hollywood project called Politics of Love! Mallika though you did a lot films, can you just reboot? We want to see your acting skills!

Amitabh Bachchan

The Big B of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan, lets skips his Bollywood story; we think if you don't know him, impossible, you have to know him. Big B, who appeared in Great Gatsby in a cameo, though he calls it a friendly gesture and not a Hollywood debut, we think it, was great to see Mr. Bachchan in Hollywood.

Ali Fazal

Most recent to this list is the Lobo of 3 Idiots who owned the hearts of the people! He acted in movies like Fukrey and Bobby Jasoos. The lucky Ali Fazal got a Hollywood offer very soon and that too in the famous franchise "Fast and Furious 7". He played a cool Arab millionaire in the movie. Way to go Ali!

It proves Hollywood is no big deal for our B-town actors. There are many more actors who worked in foreign films like Late Amrish Puri, Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Om Puri, Adil Hussain and so on...

Come on Bollywood let's show the West that we are the best!
