Jeet Gannguli Winning Praises From Legendary Classical Singers

In the bid to keep up with the techno beats that's so prevalent in Bollywood today, most music directors are failing to keep the melody of classical songs alive. Yet, there are few like music composer who are striving to keep classical music thriving, Jeet Gannguli is certainly one of them. The composer who has his own ardent fan following courtesy the music of films like Aashiqui 2, Blood Money, Citylights, Singham Returns and Khamoshiyan, which have won over the hearts of the audiences.

Recently at an event, the composer was praised by legendary singers like Kavita Krishnamurthy and Hariharan for his soulful songs from the film Citylights. Sources present at the do, claim the singers went to the extent of saying that the Citylights album was the best of 2014.

The classical music connoisseur like Kavita Krishnamurthy actually said that she has always liked the compositions of Jeet Gannguli, and particularly the raag based song 'Sone do' from Citylights was one of her favourites.
