It's a Cocktail of Genres for Bollywood in Feb. 2015

With the advent of the second month of the year we bring to you the list of movies that are slated for release in February. The audience can expect a cocktail of genres this month with every movie having a different theme and taste.

R. Balki's directorial and Eros International's Shamitabh will hit the theatres on 6th Feb 2015; making it the 1st release of February. The star cast of Shamitabh include Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan. Kollywood star Dhanush will be seen in the lead role making this his second Bollywood film after Raanjhanaa (2013). The film also marks the acting debut of Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara Haasan.

Well, the trailers of Shamitabh do not reveal much about the movie but a major portion portrays Dhanush to be a fame stricken man. The few dialogues revealed in the trailer prove to be catchy and has already reached the tip of the tongue of the audience. Background score seems to be fast paced with a touch of excitement in it. Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice for a song in the movie.

Expectation of the audience is on the rise. But it can be decided only after the release how well the movie fulfils the curiosity and expectation of the audiences.

 

Vikramjit Singh marks his directorial debut with Roy; a romantic thriller, releasing on the 13^th of Feb. The movie features Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandes. The story revolves around a mysterious thief played by Ranbir Kapoor and how a filmmaker played by Arjun Rampal makes profits by making movies based on his robberies. Jacqueline Fernandes is playing double role in the movie: one that of a Filmmaker and the other of a big shot business woman. The songs of the movie have already topped the chartbusters and are among the favourites of the audience.

The background score is in match with the scenes giving a perfect thriller touch and the scenes added in the trailer are well treated making it a must watch movie for the month. The trailer portrays the movie to be a promising hit.

 

Dirty Politics is a film based on politics and focuses on the hidden truths of the political world. The film is written and directed by K.C. Bokadia and features Mallika Sherawat, Jackie Shroff, Ashutosh Rana, Anupam Kher, Om Puri and Naseeruddin Shah. The trailer gives the complete gist about the movie showcasing the raunchy songs and dialogues. The movie has already got into many controversies before its release. Now it's awaited to see how many more controversies it will fall in after its release.

MSG - The Messenger of God is a movie that is written, directed, produced and edited all by one man i.e. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and also starring him in the main lead. The movie is based on Guruji a spiritual leader who has undertaken the responsibility of eradicating the social evils of society.

The movie has fallen into n number of controversies including a demand for ban by the Sikh community. The trailer looks quite bad and nothing at all to look forward to.

 

Badlapur is a crime drama directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla. The lead cast of the movie includes Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui along with Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam, Divya Dutta and Radhika Apte in supporting roles.

Badlapur is a film based on a revenge taken by Raghu i.e. played by Varun Dhawan. In the movie Varun will be seen in a completely new and different avatar. Unlike his previous movies where he played a chocolate boy, in this movie he will be seen playing an aggressive killer. The songs of the movie topped the music charts as soon as they were released. The trailer came with a bang and received positive response from the audience. Badlapur is slated to release on 20th Feb, 2015 and is awaited with high anticipation from Varun Dhawan's fans.

Various other movies that are lined up for release on 27th February like, Guddu Rangeela and Hey Bro. Badmashiyaan starring Suzanna Mukherjee, Gunjan Malhotra, Karan Mehra, Sidhant Gupta and Sharib Hashmi also releases on the 27^th of February.
