Pakistani designer Huma Nassr, who recently opened her first store in the country, says she wants to bring new fashion elements in the Indian market and ghararas are one of them.

Her store is in Greater Kailash's M Block Market and it is an extension of her popular brand Braahtii.

"India feels like home to me because I have been coming here for many years. Whenever I come here, I feel there is a vacuum of certain pieces and with our design essence we can add new things to the Indian fashion market," Nassr told IANS.

"There is a huge scope of Indian 'lucknowi chikankari' in Pakistani and in the same way, I have bought a lot of ghararas that people don't use so often here. I want this outfit to be part of every Indian's trousseau line and I will try my best to achieve that," she added.

The label signifies contemporary fashion and the designs comprise stylish drapes, suits, and other ethnic attire.

The designer urges Indian fans to try Pakistani flavour by visiting her store.

"I want people to come and enjoy the essence of Pakistani stuff," she said.
