Adlabs Imagica, a 110-acre entertainment theme park on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, is ready to open doors April 18. With as many as 18 attractions, the highlights are rides like 'Rajasaurus River Adventure' and a motion-simulation "Mr. India" ride.
Travel back to the land of dinosaurs in 'Rajasaurus River Adventure' or take a scary trip through the haunted fortress of Salimgarh, and enjoy a motion-simulator chase after villain Mogambo in 'Mr. India - The Ride' - there's something for everyone here.
There is also a 'Dare to Drop' ride, and some thrilling roller-coasters.
"Adlabs Imagica is the effort of many years to bring international experiences home. We wanted today's global Indians to be proud of an experience in their own country. The international attractions range from the extreme to the innovative," Manmohan Shetty, chairman, Adlabs Entertainment Ltd, said in a statement.
He hopes the venue becomes a "tourism destination like no other".
Tickets for the theme park are available at a special price April 18-30.
It will cost Rs.1,200 for adults and Rs.900 for children on a weekday, while weekend tickets will cost Rs.300 more for each.
There is a special ticket, Imagica Express, which allows fast track access to select top attractions during weekends. It costs Rs.2,200 for adults and Rs.1,900for children.
