'Killi Chundan' the catchiest Malayalam song

Kochi, Jan 9 (IANS) The Malayalam music chart for the fortnight remains the same as the previous one, with 'Killi Chundan' still the most popular song.

The top five Malayalam songs are:

1. 'Killi Chundan' - Film: 'Romeo'; Music: Alex Paul; Lyrics: Sarath Varma. Dileep always makes an effort to make his films wholesome entertainers. So good music is guaranteed, whether the plot demands it or not.

2. 'Maambulli' - Film: 'Kadha Parayumbol'; Music: M. Jayachandran; Lyrics: Gireesh Puthencherry; Singers: Vineeth Sreenivasan and Sweta. Mammootty portrays the role of a superstar in the film. This song is used to show the process of shooting, and works well.

3. 'Mazhamani' - Film: 'Kangaroo'; Music: Saji Ram; Lyrics: Biju Kaipparedan. The romantic song in this family entertainer adds variety to the proceedings.

4. 'Chandamama' - Film: 'Rock n Roll'; Music: Vidyasagar; Lyrics: Gireesh Puthencherry; Singers: Anita and Rija. The music of this film still rocks.

5. 'Istamalle' - Film: 'Chocolate'; Music: Alex Paul; Lyrics: Sarath Varma; Singer: Shahabas Aman. The film may have dropped out of the top-five list, but its music continues to be popular.
